Yesterday’s Super Bowl domination of Denver by the Seattle Seahawks was the fifth most-watched Super Bowl in history. Close to 97 million viewers tuned in to watch Seattle’s No. 1 defense put a stop to Denver’s No. 1 offense.
Although I’m a Seattle fan, I have a lot of respect for Peyton Manning. His drive to succeed is a small part of what earned him his 5th league MVP for the 2013-2014 season. After the game, he continued to show class and respect for his competitors.
One of my goals this year is to surround myself (on a personal and work level) with people who, like Manning, want to achieve greatness while maintaining their integrity. Peyton is a true leader, and I think we can all take a page from his book when deciding how to lead our teams, whether it be on the field, with our family, or in our work environments. How will you choose to lead this year?
One last shout out to my team…Nice win Seahawks!!!
