The vote is unanimous, our PNW is the greatest for outdoor adventures! Especially this time of year. Have you been enjoying the sunshine? What are your favorite outdoor activities? Hiking is a community favorite, and here are a few spots that need to be added to your to-do list:
- Walk and enjoy the luscious and picturesque scenery at Riverside Park while enjoying the famous Bowl and Pitcher hiking area. The hike is a total of 5.2 miles round trip, perfect for a day outing!
- Take a morning off and fish at Hog Lake or simply walk the 1.3 mile loop around the lake with a friend or two!
- See the magnificent waterfalls of Palouse Falls State Park, for a total of 2 miles.
- Bring your kids! Point out the wetland animal life at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. The total hike is only 1 mile, but it is definitely worth the wildlife picture moments!
