Making a difference one life at a time.

For the past 25 years, October has been National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Last week, our local Dutch Bros coffee stands took a day and a dollar from each drink sold, and donated the money to Kristie Ryser, a 21 year old Spokane native who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. With the help of many, over $11,000 was raised under the campaign ‘Cups for Kristie’, and donated to her and the American Childhood Cancer Organization of the Inland Northwest. To follow Kristie’s journey and her fight to beat cancer, visit facebook.com/KristiesBattle. VPI is proud to be a part of such a strong community, and we look for ways to contribute on a regular basis, including events like Cups for Kristie. Take a moment and consider what you can do to make a difference in your community.

Valleyfest and Sweepstakes…a great combo!

Happy Friday! Looking for something to do with the family? The forecast is beautiful for tonight’s Valleyfest Parade. The fun continues all weekend near Mirabeau Point, as a wide array of businesses step up to bring you events that highlight Spokane Valley. For a complete schedule, visit http://valleyfest.org/

While you’re enjoying the festivities, stop by our Valleyfest booth to say hello, and enter to win our 2nd annual Christmas in November Sweepstakes. Who wouldn’t want to win up to $15,000 in new VPI Quality Windows for their home?! Check out all the details here: www.vpihomesolutions.com

As you finish out your day, revel in the warmth of the sun, and although the lightning storms have been incredible to watch, let’s hope they hold off for the weekend!
