Making a difference one life at a time.

For the past 25 years, October has been National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Last week, our local Dutch Bros coffee stands took a day and a dollar from each drink sold, and donated the money to Kristie Ryser, a 21 year old Spokane native who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. With the help of many, over $11,000 was raised under the campaign ‘Cups for Kristie’, and donated to her and the American Childhood Cancer Organization of the Inland Northwest. To follow Kristie’s journey and her fight to beat cancer, visit facebook.com/KristiesBattle. VPI is proud to be a part of such a strong community, and we look for ways to contribute on a regular basis, including events like Cups for Kristie. Take a moment and consider what you can do to make a difference in your community.
